MANDATORY TESTING FOR COMMERCIAL ELEVATORS
Category 1 (Annual Test)A test of the elevator system and safety components must be performed by an elevator contractor licenced by TSSA in Ontario. Alliance Elevator has a team of expert elevator technicians ready to complete these tests.
Category 5 (5 Year Test)Every 5 years the elevator speeds and equipment settings must be tested and measured to be in compliance with device specifications and the applicable elevator code. This test require that each elevator be loaded with engineered weight of the capacity of the elevator being tested in order to verify precision speeds and elevator equipment settings. Our expert technicians are experienced with this process and have the knowledge and tools required to prevent any downtime.
