The wire hoisting ropes on your elevator incur most of the wear and tear of regular daily use. Wire ropes have a limited life that is much shorter than the expected life of the elevator. Improperly installed, worn and damaged hoisting ropes routinely fail, causing the potential for a catastrophic accident. A hoisting rope that is in perfect condition can be ruined by a single damaged lift component that may cause a kink or bird caging in the wires.

Our properly trained and experienced technicians inspect the wire ropes on elevators and lifts on a regular basis in accordance with the elevator codes, regulations and safety standards as well as the manufacturer’s recommendation. We are fully licenced and qualified for your hoisting rope replacement and elevator repair services.

Preventative Maintenance & Guide Rollers

One of the most important maintenance procedures our tehnicians perform is inspection of the upper and lower carriage rollers and all guide rollers on all stair platform lifts, also called wheelchair lifts, stair platform lifts and inclined platform lifts.

This maintenance item ranks one of the highest for these wheelchair lifts because worn rollers can contribute to poor lift operation, lift damage or create a potential hazard. Wear on the rollers will vary through use of the lift. We use a thorough approach to inspecting all of the carriage rollers and if the wheelchair lift is equipped with a stabilizer, then inspection of the stabilizer components is also performed. We use only top quality replacement parts and stock many of the most commonly used replacement parts for most wheelchair lifts, home elevators and stair lifts.
